3. Completion of the Church Membership Class and affirmation of the Church Membership Covenant. This class is offered periodically and does not have to be completed before making a public decision or before baptism.
What is "The Connecting Point" class?
The class is a two-hour New Member's Class that is required for membership. This class is a basic introduction to our church, focuses on our beliefs, structure, vision and how you get involved. It is intended for those who are interested in becoming members, and it is also for those who have already indicated a desire to join Northside (during the time of invitation) but have not yet participated.
The class is offered once every two months and is taught by our senior pastor on Sunday morning during Sunday school and morning worship time. There will be a light breakfast to start off the class. A nice luncheon will follow the class, at which your family is also invited to attend. The next Connecting Point is February 19th, 9:15am-Noon. Please call the church office for more detail and to reserve your seat. (Reservations are not required for this class.)
The class is conducted in Northside's Reception Room.
Yes, age-appropriate childcare/supervision is provided for children and students birth through high school.
