What time is church worship on Sunday?
Regardless of which service you attend, you will enjoy worshiping through great music, an engaging message from the Bible that applies to daily life, and an environment of acceptance, energy and joy. The musical menu in these services will include a choir, vocal teams, a band, an orchestra, and a variety of song choices - from traditional hymns to contemporary praise and worship songs.
It's really up to you; it's not a big deal to us. A few will be really dressed up, a few will be really dressed down, but most will be casual and comfortable, somewhere in between.
Yes! There is outstanding programming for preschoolers (6 weeks through pre-K) during all worship services. We also offer high-energy, age-group appropriate programming for your elementary, middle or high school student - be sure to check out the ministry pages for activities you will not want them to miss!
...enter our parking lot from East Park Avenue. We have visitor parking designated on each side of the Worship Center. Once you make your way inside, you will be greeted by one of our welcome team members who will be eager to help direct you and answer any questions you may have. In addition, they will offer to show you our adult classrooms or our age group ministry areas.
If you have a child...
...we recommend that you allow them to participate in the age group programming that suits them best. Allow your infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages 6 weeks - pre-K) to be cared for in one of our warm, nurturing ministry classrooms. Or, if you have a child in elementary school (5K - 5th grade) they won't want to miss what's going on in our Children's ministry.
Your child will be much happier with our trained volunteers than in the worship service. One of our welcome team greeters or ushers in the worship center will be pleased to guide you to the location of your child's age group ministry. More information is available at the information desks in the gathering area.
...ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general requests. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to go to an usher to request assistance. As a first-time visitor to Northside, you are our guest. We don't expect you to contribute in the offering. Our members and regular attendees give joyfully and generously to support the work of the Lord here. As our guest, please complete and turn in your communication card.
...we have a time for everyone to greet the people around them. As a guest, we won't put you on the spot or call you to the front. We do ask that you complete and turn in a communication card to help us know of your visit and know what kind of information that you would like to receive from us. Place the card in the offering plate or give it to one of the ushers at the doors at the end of the service.
