The Northside Youth Ministry is a place for students to relax and have a good time while they hear and learn the truth from the Bible concerning life’s toughest questions, develop friendships, enjoy music led by the Youth Praise Band, and discover how to have a meaningful relationship with God. There are a number events throughout the year including retreats, movie nights, mission trips, and other fellowship activities.
Student life can include some of the highest highs and some of the lowest lows. A huge goal of Northside’s Student Ministry is to create an atmosphere of acceptance and friendship that models God's unconditional acceptance to all of us. From this foundation, a student can learn to just be themselves as they learn more about the relationship they have with God through Jesus Christ.These years mark the time when a student starts moving from relying on their parents to developing a faith of their own. We would love being a part of that transition.
Student life is a time when all of the following start to happen:---You get really busy with sports, band, driving, dating, jobs, and plenty of other stuff.---You are presented with opportunities (both good and bad) that you may or may not be prepared for.---You start asking questions like, "Who am I?", "Why am I here?","What do I do with my life?", "Do I matter?" Northside's Student Ministry is really about helping you realize that you have amazing potential. Not just being a successful person, but a successful person of faith who can be and do amazing things for God. You have an amazing source of power in Jesus Christ that gets unleashed through a growing faith.As a youth ministry, we want to do our best to help you grow so you don't graduate from your faith when you graduate from School.
