There is something about God´s love for us that compels us to reach beyond our own needs, wants and desires to help others. In all we do, we show love. And in showing love, we become living representatives of God for a world that desperately needs what only He can provide.In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus said, "…All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Northside focuses, supports and engages outreach through three distinct areas:
Community Ministries encourages, equips and engages the body of Christ to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of people in the Valdosta area. Through a growing number of outreaches and events that offer practical help combined with the love and message of Jesus they are making a difference in our city.
Evangelism Ministry encourages the church to share the Gospel of Christ, equips believers with a biblical worldview and training in personal evangelism, and engages the culture through hospitality at the church and through church wide events.
Missions Ministry encourages Northside to be a part of reaching people with the Gospel in a global context. This is primarily accomplished by providing care for those in the field through Global Missions Teams and by mission trips to take the message of Christ to the nations.
